Biotab continued billing to credit card

I ordered by phone a trial box of all natural sleeping pills. The woman on the phone kept trying to get me to order other things as well but I remained firm in that all I wanted was a trial for .97, nothing more. No magazine subscriptions, no pecker extenders, no memberships...no nothings beyond the .97 trial offer.
I received in short time a full box of these Alteril sleeping pills and a bill for $36.90. I immediately attempted to call but got no answer. I e-mailed but the e-mails came back with the notice that the mailbox was full and could not receive more.
I notified my card company and told them of this situation and to not allow Biotab access to my card anymore. My card company (Visa) pretty much told me "too bad, there is nothing we can do to stop it". I guess as consumers and users of credit cards (any card) we are without rights to stop a person or company from charging our card regardless as to how much theft or fraud is involved.
The people at Biotab are scum but not as much as the credit card companies it would seem.
We need to have some protective laws put in place to protect us and the misuse of our credit cards by others. The credit card companies have many laws protecting them and continue to fight for more protection for themselves but not the consumer.
A few weeks later I received the .97 trial box. And later another full $36.90 box...and then another $36.90 box. Visa tells me to cancel then they tell me it cost Biotab more in fees for me to dispute and then they tell me to cancel my card and get another. So who is the bigger crook?
This is happening through the mail so it's mail fraud right? Wrong...this is theft so the states attorney general should be interested right? Wrong again. California has little interest it seems
